Vintage Loop
Web Design

Overview
The project was to build a visual identity for a small business, and ultimately create an e-commerce website for it.
I created Vintage Loop, a vintage clothing store with sustainability and reselling as their focus. The business is women-owned with humble beginnings setting up stalls at various Sydney markets. They became inspired to do something bigger and create an even bigger impact, and Vintage Loop was born.
The project’s requirements included visual identity, a website prototype on Figma, and a completed website using Wix.

Ideation
With sustainability in mind, I wanted a name that could convey a continuous “cycle” of sorts. I settled with Vintage Loop, playing with the double “o” to imply that repeated cycle.
I also wanted the business to feel hopeful and warm, so I chose bright and energising warm-toned colours.
After creating a visual identity for the shop, the process moved to planning the website design.

Production
After sketching layouts and figuring out a sitemap, I laid out the design in Figma.
Using Figma, I was able to build a prototype with working buttons and links using it’s tools like Instances and Prototype settings, include images, and create layouts for different web pages.
After sending it to the client and receiving feedback, I used that prototype to build the live website on Wix.
