Outlook Australia
visual identity | website design

Overview
A personal project issued at my internship at Jala Design, the brief required a revised visual identity and website design for non-profit organisation, Outlook Australia.
Outlook Australia has a commitment to create and facilitate sustainable opportunities for people with a disability. This largely covers employment and community opportunities.
The revised visual identity needed to be an “evolution” of the existing brand, and also ensure a focus on accessibility, i.e. colours, fonts, sizes, etc.
Deliverables were:
- Website design
- 2 logo concepts
- Finalised logo and lockups
- Brand guidelines

Ideation
After market research and researching Outlook Australia, I started sketching logo designs. Using feedback, I narrowed the choices into two and developed two concepts from them:
- “Compassionate/Paths”
- Muted and warm colours
- Connected journeys and pathways
- “Metropolitan/Layers”
- Contemporary and professional
- Empowering

Production
After approval of Concept 1, I utilised Adobe Illustrator to further produce the logo and brand style guide, including the colour palette, fonts, and pattern assets.
I focused on producing pattern assets that could be resized and reused throughout the whole branding. This was to give freedom on the placement of the assets, while keeping the visuals consistent throughout the whole website.
After finalising the visual identity, I did further research on website designs of those in the same market.
